Dosage question: 3/12 Jake's Numbers AMPS 326 PMPS 314

The vet told me not to give Jake his insulin when he's below 150. I gave him shots twice this week with his BG in the mid to high 140s. If I miss his shot, wont it just toss his BG levels through the roof by the end of the day?
