My cat is so bordeline with the diabetes they are having us do a curve first to help them determine if this can be treated with just weight loss management or oral meds or if insulin will be needed. We are doing this at home so he doesn't have artificially elevated levels. First stick before breakfast is 108. Do we still do this every 2 hours just like you would with the insulin curves? Any tips or advice as we go through this today with him?
Thanks, everyone.

Also remember to make a note of what time he eats, and what he has eaten.

But otherwise yep, if you test every two hours, throughout the day for 12 hours or so (covering both morning meal and latest evening meal), this will give you a great set of results.
