Whitey had a decent run going with a lot of 100's and lower throughout the days. But for the last week he's been cruising in the 200s all days and night. We have been in the midst of a heat wave here we have been in the mid 90s every day and I am in a house with no A.C. and Whitey is a long hair cat so I am sure he's miserable. Although I do have a portable AC in one room and he never wants to be in that room for some reason, he prefers to lay on the floor in the hot rooms.

I also had to skip two shots in a row last week because of my schedule so maybe that is effecting him too but I figured he would have recovered from that by now

Not directly but it can affect how much they eat and how much they exercise. With less exercise BG would be higher.

Well, he certainly has been spending the majority of his time the past week laying on the floor so that make sense. Looking back over the past month on my spreadsheet he's actually more stable now, unfortunately it's stable in the 200s. He has been hitting 50-150 range a lot but also spiking to the 300s and even 400 a couple of times over the 3 weeks prior

Maybe get some more spot check in at times you dont normally test in case he is dropping low then like afternoon and late pm. Otherwise he might need a dose increase.
