Dad called to let me know Jack only has about five days of insulin left..


I guess you have to expect that a donated vial would only last a few weeks,,


I really wish dad would have given me more time.. Cuz I am not sure how long shipping takes


so if you know of a good deal please let me know..Because I am broke..and dad has to pay like 200 bucks to get his pain pump filled..


I shouldnt be that upset..I am in no worse shape than anyone else..

I think Im going to tell him you have to give me more notice than that

Is he basing that on volume in the vial, or alleged expiration date?

Check our Supply Closet subforum for posts.

If the vet would do it, you could switch to Lantus or Levemir.

Is a road trip to Canada out of the question? Mp Rx for insulin needed there.

actually Im good..


I found this place on the web called Santa Cruz Biotechnology..

They sell Prozinc for 80..


They only deal with vets..but if you call them, and give them your vets info so they can verify, they will bill you and sent the vial to the vet for pick up


we really cant afford 80 but its a lot better than Prozinc at full price.


Just thought you guys would like this tidbit of info

yes and when they ship to the vet, they dont charge shipping..
