Does... anyone give Bupe subQ for arthritis?

Nelli responds very well to subQ- almost impossible for me to get liquid (compound) down her throat. When I do... has a remarkably less, affect?

Noah needed all his teeth pulled but would never survive anesthesia and just hated oral BUPE. Our vet put him on transdermal BUPE and it saved his life and my sanity.
It was made at a compounding pharmacy and having his ears tickled was the worst part of his day. A very low maintenance cat.

@Noah & me (GA) ...how much was Noah taking and for how long ?
I too would get it compounded. OMG... compounded from dia-bac 10ml is right around $50. .09 at vet same price
