Does anyone feed Science Diet Kitten food?

My vet recommended changing from Fancy Feast Low carb wet to Science Diet wet Kitten. She claims the protein is a higher quaility and she is trying to protect my cat's kidneys.

Does anyone know the carb breakdown in the Science Diet Wet Kitten?

Does this make sense to anyone?

No, it doesn't make sense. The only time to restrict protein is in end stage renal failure. Now, that said,which food is he referring to? Hills Feline Growth (ie kitten?) has only 9-12% of the calories from carbs but it is lower in protein than fancy feast, etc. so the rest of the calories must be from fat. I don't see this as a reasonable way to go.
