does anyone buy there Insulin and Syringes from Walmart for the felines?

I buy my u40s online from ADW. 200 of them were just over $30.xx with shipping. I also grabbed a box of u100s from them for $16.xx with shipping.

I'm on my first bottle of Prozinc I got fro the vet and I haven't decided if I'm going to worry about changing yet but a limited search shows I can save about $50 a bottle online. I know lots of people in the US use a Canadian pharmacy for lantus. Actually if I ever switch from Prozinc I will look into seeing if I can just run across the border and buy it from a Windsor Pharmacy.
 
The Walmart syringes, U100's Relion brand with 1/2 markings , 100 for 13.88. The Lantus Solo Star pens (3ml) is $86 but can be purchase cheaper from Mark's Marine Pharmacy in Canada. What insulin are you using?
 
I bought my syringes (U100's), lancets, meter and test strips at Walmart. I bought my Prozinc from the vet office.

My vet's office gave me the ProZinc the cost was $140, but my cat is just on 3 units a day until I take her back to the vet in 10 days to be rechecked. The vet said the Insulin should last for 3-4 mts. The syringes they gave me are also ProZinc U-40, that has 40 ct and cost was $45 and will only last me 20 days! So I need to find a cheaper one and I would like to find 100ct. I hope I can find something at Walmart.
 
Check out ADW diabetic supplies out of FL. I got the syringes for 12.99 + shipping for 100 u40 they are the same my Vet gave me as a starter kit. I'm pretty sure most human places don't carry u40 as I don't think they are used for human dosing anymore. PetRX was at about $20-30 for 100 count.

Thank You...........I will look up those websites that you gave me. As I said I need to find cheaper syringes then 40ct for $45!

WalMart doesn't carry U40 syringes, but you can get U100 syringe to use with ProZinc IF you use the conversion chart.

Their Relion 3/10mL, 30 or 31 gauge, 8mm insulin syringes are $12.58 for 100 and also come with half unit markings (which can really help when you're making small changes in dose)

If you don't want to use the conversion chart, you can buy UtiCare U40 syringes at ADW for $13.99 per 100 plus shipping

There's not much you can do with the cost of ProZinc since it's available only at your vet or a veterinary pharmacy.
 
Lantis is available at WalMart--$288. I also found it at Costco at the best price I've seen yet at $266
