Does antibiotic cause spike

My kitty started Orbax today for a UTI. It this definitely helping that. However Her bg spiked from 240 to 340 quickly and has remained around 300 which is much higher than her usual. The web says it Orbax is relatively ok for diabetics but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this experience

It would help us help you if you would start a spreadsheet. The infection could be caus8ng tge spike or many other reasons. It’s hard to see without seeing a few weeks of data.
