I believe that Scar and his sibling are still at the Humane Society. I know that Dian is struggling with wanting to adopt Scar and the reality that financially this may not be possible. If there is anyone who may be interested in adopting this sweet boy, let Dian know. He is OTJ and very very sweet....oh, and he is quite the thief when it comes to carb ladened foods!

What a tragedy! That's every cat lover's nightmare! What will happen to our cats when we can't care for them!

He's adorable. What types and ages are all the cats? Are they in a kill shelter? Do you have pics of them all? My Racci is all alone since we lost her Calli mom this last septemer but I can't afford another diabetic & though I wouldn't mind it, I don't know how Racci would react to that much sharing of her mom either. I'm in central VA

scar is 12 and francine and I will be getting him
the other ages are there but kotche is 15.web error and they spelled his name wrong. others are isabelle,mother of scar and his siblings, bernie and murracci who passed a few days after her.

francine and dian... you're both awesome! there's no doubt shelly's spirit is smiling.

I would love to do it, but will have to convince DH also which may not be easy. I would want someone to do it for me though and their ages would be right for Racci. The mom might be an even better match since she was used to living with her son and Racci just lost her mom. She looks like she was shaved. :smile:

If I could do it is there someone local who could pull the cat out for me and possibly drive part way? I can't drive far so DH would also have to be convinced to drive me and Racci is a terrible traveler so there are problems involved in the transportation. I can't leave her for long. She won't eat without me. :YMSIGH: I also have a feeling that they will want to adopt locally.

(((Dian))) I am glad to see this update, I wasn't sure what was happening with Scar.
