? Do you give shots @ 4.7 (86)

Hey guys first reading in the greens I've had at the AMPS.
When it's at 4.7 (86) will you still administer a shot or pass on this one.
I've been wondering wether to to give a small amount as I know he will probably go higher during the day but not sure if it's safe to?
So I did give a very small amount 0.2 on a u100 syringe. My husband is with him for the next 6 hours so will watch him for me.

Glad your DH is home and able to keep an eye out

Next time you get a PS you're not sure about, stall, don't feed and test again in 20-30 minutes....if the number goes up without the influence of food, that's a pretty good indication that the last shot is probably starting to wear off....but if the number continues to drop, it's probably best to skip.

stall, don't feed and test again in 20-30 minutes....

I have seen about stalling bit my schedule tonight and tomorrow morning makes it awkward to stall.
Thought with a small amount will help with the spike after food as he does normal spike a bit after feeding but also hubby is there to test and give food if needed.
