Discontinuation of Insuvet Insulin in UK

My cat Felix was diagnosed with Diabetes five years ago and he has been well controlled on Insuvet Protamine Zinc Insulin. My Vet has now informed me that the Insuvet Insulins are no longer available and we will have to change to Caninsulin. Having read all the information on Caninsulin I am reluctant to change to this Insulin. Can anyone else in the UK tell me what they are doing about the discontinuation of Insuvet Insulins. Mary
