Digestive Enzyme Dosing/Slippery Elm Dosing HELP NEEDED

I FOUND THE DIGESTIVE ENZYMES!!! They have a 500mg capsule - 50/$11.75.

WHAT DOSE do I start with when I get them? We'll drive over now to pick them up....it's 35 miles away so will be a bit before we're back.

His body is also starting to work absorbing food too as I got a BIG BG spike this morning - how do I do this dosing? I don't want to mess up progress!

EDIT TO ADD: OK, I've got them!!!! I've even got Slippery Elm Bark!!!! Wendy gave me a dose of '6x' of 1/4 tsp per cup of food.

All I could get is 9x - how much of that???

How much Slippery Elm Bark dose too? These are 400mg capsules.

If the enzymes are in capsules, does it say to open the capsule up?

If yes, I'd aim at half a capsule of the enzymes (1/8th teaspoon), stirred well into the food.

I believe I read you're supposed to let it sit for a period so the enzymes can start working, but am not sure - do the package instructions say?
