Diarrhea for 10 days

I began the S. Boulardii 250 mg 1/4 capsule (thought I read) 2x's per day 6/27/2020. How much should I be giving? I read the link found on this forum cats with diarrhea.
I read ingredients for Jarrow FortiFlora (L. casei, E. faeciuum, P. acidilactic)
Is one more effective than the other?
Should I give 1 tblsp of pumpkin with two of her meals?
I have feed ground up chicken breast for midday and dinner for past three days.
Sassy is drinking and eating well. She is purring letting me pet her. Hasn't thrown up.
Do you think this warrants a vet visit? Should I wait out going vet with giving S. Boulardii for another week?
It says it takes time.
I don't feel that she is dyhrdated. when I pull her nape of neck, returns back.
 
Diarrhea will cause dehydration keep doing that snap test. (pulling the scruff up and letting go.)

I use fortiflora because my Zoe has, too soft stools without it. I dont know about the other. Fortiflora works fine for us.

Hold o for more replies this could become more than it seems.

How is the diarrhea? How liquid and how many times a day? I’d at least call the vet and see what they say over the phone? S Boulardii is great, but if there’s something else going on, it won’t clear it. I give Minnie 1/4 a capsule once a day and it’s enough for her

I give Kyla 1/4 capsule per day. Today is the 6th day and I have seen improvement. Thank you for your advice.

there are a few other things you can try like pumpkin and fiber, but since it’s been going on for this long it’s good to make sure there’s no underlying condition causing it. If you add the pumpkin, I’d start slow because it can have the opposite effect. Same with fiber. And add one thing at a time so you know what’s working and what isn’t. I had Minnie on metronidazole for her lose stool/diarrhea. It’s a mild antibiotic but it will only work if it’s bacteria related. Worth asking the vet his or her thoughts on it. It works faster than the probiotics like in 2-3 days
