Hi, my kitty has been having diarrhea for the past 3 weeks. We went to vet and the dr is monitoring the situation. We are on waiting on the results for blood work, urine work, and fecal culture. He currently takes probiotics, eats Forza10 (wet/low-no carb) with steamed chicken. His glucose levels have been high recently (which may be why he has diarrhea.) Takes 6 units per day of Prozinc/ prescribed 3 units am/pm. Gets 1 unit of fluids per day. Any recommendations on how to alleviate or control the diarrhea? Is this common? He still has appetite and moves around.

Hi, you may want to change the icon at the beginning of your thread title to "?" from "GA".
GA stands for Guardian Angel or Gone Ahead - referring to a kitty (or anyone) that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Sorry, I can't help you with your question on diarrhea though!

What do you mean by one unit of fluids per day? Like 100 ml of sub q's?

The vet didn't feel an obstruction? Have you tried adding plain pumkin? What was he eating prior to the chicken? Perhaps it's ibd or he had a chicken sensitivity. Switching to a novel protien like rabbit might help
