Help,

here is my new issue...Harley started with diarreah (sp?)...it only happened once yesterday and then again today he didn't make it to the box...his #'s are good..no keotones...we did switch his food to the friskies wet food but it has been over a week...would this just now be causing him stomach issues?

Thank you,

Cherie & Harley

p.s. I am working on the spreadsheet the computer is not cooperating with me..hopefully will have it going in next day or 2 my excel is having issues

It does sometimes take a little time to adjust.

There was a question earlier in the year about how long some thing stays in a kitties tummy before being ... well, pooped out.

I know some cats have tummy problems for a month after changing- Harley might be one.

Do you have any flori flori? Some people use that b/c of the probiotics, some use Greek yogurt- plain. Either might help with loose stool.

Others will be chiming on soon.

Hope Harley gets over this. Keep an eye on the ketones- two tests a day, at least, just to be sure there is no underlying infection that might come rearing up.

TY HM, I think we have determined it was the cat food change as my other kitty Patience (non-FD) also has some loose stool, didn't notice that till after I posted..I honestly think it may be the food I gave them yesterday and this morning..I got mostly the pate food, but I did get a chicken type that was shreds, and yesterday morning and this morning are the first time they got that and this happens..so I think i'm going to not give them the last 2 cans of that and just keep them on the pate for a bit and see what happens...
