I bumped him back up to .8 this morning and his numbers were still high. Could it be from the higher fat content in the Turkey & Giblets versus the Chicken??

What's the difference in carbs? I wouldn't think so, unless you're talking about a lot higher carb.

The numbers aren't bad; not as good as we'd like, but not bad. Any time you get a yellow preshot, it's good news. I'd give the .8 a few cycles. Diablo does seem to be a kitty that takes awhile to react to a dose change.

I believe they're only 1% apart as far as carbs. 10% for fat. I'm just having trouble seeing any patterns with him. The first time I gave him .8 he dropped into the blues, so I backed off and he has been higher since. But maybe he just needs a few cycles to adjust between the .6 and .8.

I am glad you have increased the dose. It appears, to me, that Diablo has a late onset- "normally."

I can tell you from my experience with Kitty, that low 200 preshots were hard to get good cycles on. I got much better cycles and numbers on high 200 or low 300 preshots--- I almost hated to shoot a low 200 at any dose, because the numbers were never good.

Hang in there.....you have never had any scary low numbers, even on the "good" cycles, so just slowly increase if needed and work your way to a good dose. You are doing this "the right way!" If there is such a thing. You decreased on an unshootable preshot, found that the reduced dose is most likely not enough and are slowly working your way back up-- PERFECT! AND, last but not least, you are keeping great data in your Spreadsheet and checking for Ketones!

Good Luck!
