Diabetic Nueropathy question

My cat is improving nicely, however I notice that every once in a while he still is crouched down on all fours. While this is slowly decreasing, I am wondering should I be doing something else to help him along in this area or will it reverse itself over time as the diabetes continues to improve? I have been reading up on Methylcobalamin (b12 vitamin) and am wondering does anyone know about this or have any experience with it. Cinnamon already has a leg injury from long ago that never healed 100% so he always flashes his right hind leg when sitting up and also is a low jumper (the bed but never the kitchen counter). I engage him in active play as much as I can and he is definitely moving around quicker and faster.

My cat could only walk a few feet and then would sink to the ground - heart breaking to watch. And then he was startled and fell and injured a hip. My vet has been giving him vit B12 injections and they have worked miracles. He now trots and occasionally runs in the yard. His injured hip has improved dramatically, and the limp is rarely visible. Many on this site recommend pills which are available in pharmacies (I think), and the injections are from the vet which adds to the cost. However, my vet now loads several syringes and I do the shots at home - again a cost savings.

Are you giving Methyl injections or just B12 injections? There is a difference.
