diabetic food to keep ph down

Hi, my cat has had surgery to remove crystals and has been on a royal canine ph lowering cat food. Now he has diabetes and everyone says glycobalance is no good for diabetes but its the only option I can find to keep my cats ph down....help.

I wonder if a raw diet would be an alternative. I was doing some research and found this site that mentioned raw diet and PH values with urinary tract disease. Now they are based in New Zealand, but reading about the PH values of that product was very interesting.
I have transitioned Idjit to a raw diet using the Food Fur Life EZ Complete supplement, but I do not know about the PH values. I do know that you can ask questions of the FFL staff and perhaps they can provide some information in that direction.
www.catino.org might also be a resource, it might be worth exploring.
I wish Kuda well, and that you can find a good alternative so that he doesn't have to suffer from crystals anymore.
