My vet is keeping a close eye on Morelli, my overweight cat who has several symptoms of diabetes but blood work still ok. To be safe I have changed his food to Young Again Zero Carb. It is a dry food. It has been good at helping him trim a few ounces—but my worry is UTI. Young Again feels this is not an issue with this food but I’m asking if anyone on here has had this issue.

Diabetics with bg over about 220 whose glucose is spilling into the urine are more prone to uti. Young Again does not cause uti.

When you say blood work is still ok you mean his glucose levels are normal? What about his kiddneys are they ok?

I suggest you post your specific questions on the Main Fourum, there you'll get more eyes
