Diabetic 13 year old cat

All of a sudden Sam, my 13 year old diabetic cat, won't eat fancy feast 3oz canned classic pate cat food. I think Purina has had to shut down several plants in U.S. because of covid making supply a problem. After taking several off the market, Purina has shipped 2 of his favorites on a limited basis. But I think they've been reformulated because he won't eat them. I read somewhere that it's OK to give diabetic cats FF flaked canned cat food. Does anyone know if a diabetic cat should be eating FF flaked canned food?

The "Flaked" are fine....Under 10%
