Is vomiting a symptom of diabetes? I ask because Martha vomits once in awhile and I am wondering if it could be because of diabetes instead of something else, such as IBD?

I don't think so or more people would talk about it. However it could be a symptom of pancreatitis though, which is something FD's are prone to.

What does the vomit look like? Is it clear-ish bile?
When does he vomit? When he is hungry (and on an empty stomach) or after he has eaten (how long after)?

I'm wondering how often 'once in a while' is. Cats do occasionally vomit hair or other bits of stuff that they find to eat and I don't worry about it too much. One of my civvies will scour the house for any bit of ribbon and then vomit it up. But if its several times a day then its of more concern. And as Sneaker's mom asked - is it just a little clear liquid? Yellow bile? Have food in it? As usual, each question generates more questions!
