I've posted here & PZI board this week. Since the DKA episode I can't get him under control. Dropped him off at Vet today & got the typical feed him SD & increase insulin. I seriously think there's something else going on here & she's not looking for it. I don't even think she checked his ketones today. The internal med vet at the school can't see him for another week. Idk what to do here or what else to look for. Is there anywhere there's a list of recommended vets for this stuff? He's been outta control for 2wks now & I feel like I'm pushing the envelope going another with no answer. Any suggestions?

I don't know of a list anywhere, though I am fairly new here myself. If you had a location listed someone might be able to give you and idea of vets in your area though.
 
Please go back to your original post on the health forum here - and change your subject to your location - city/state and add - need vet recommendations - hopefully that will get folks who are in your area to chime in - and then you may also want to cross post this on community and Lantus ISG - I know your own prozinc, but Lantus ISG - has a large number of people there (and some don't venture off it) and someone may be nearby to offer vet suggestions.
