Hello!
So my cats teeth are looking pretty crappy lately. It happened since the switch to wet food so I don't know if the food was helping scrape off the crap? Vet said they were fine in January (before he changed food) but they look pretty terrible to me (lots of plaque/tartar on his back teeth). Is there anything I can do to help him since I can't afford to have his teeth cleaned right now. I'm on maternity leave, so I'm tight on cash and there's a chance of my workplace closing before I go back.
I was looking at dental treats, plaque powder and finger brushes and wanted to know if there's anything in particular that can benefit him at all. I'm assuming many of the treats have sugar but I don't know if there's such thing as a low carb dental treat or maybe something he can just chew on without injesting. Do the finger brushes work?
If it turns out that my job isn't being shut down, im probably going to celebrate with a cleaning for him (job pays more than any new job I'll be able to find), I just can't afford it at the moment.
Thank you!
