Decrease at PMPS?

Hi there, long time no visit. Fin has been doing really good, but I think we bounced last week and I am concerned that we are bouncing again. He improved when I reduced last week and I am considering dropping his insulin again based on what the numbers are doing. Ketones are negative. Poop is solid and regular and urine is increasing based on numbers but nothing like he used to do.

Advice??

While it is possible you have missed something by not getting spot checks the last 3 nights, I believe you have enough spot checks to be fairly sure that Fin is not going low. I see a blue five days days ago, but even if he bounced from that it would have cleared by now. In fact, by the numbers Fin needs an increase to at least 4.25, but if you wanted to wait until you can get spot checks on a couple of evenings first that would be understandable.

Did you shoot this AM? There wasn't a dose filled in on your SS. I agree with Libby. I think Fin could use a bit more insulin.
