Marcy's Klinger had a cardiac arrest during a dental procedure. This is every fur Bean's nightmare. DCIN is sponsoring a chip-in for the very high and unexpected costs for his ER care. Please help if you can.

Done and Bump

Just curious...is there a delay after the donation for the total amount to increase in the chart? I am just asking because I saw no change in the total amount and I want to be sure it was processed.

Thanks!

Kim, lately I have noticed that sometimes the chip-in won't increase until the next day. If you get a PayPal response, your donation came through. I also try to send my own thanks to donors.

I can't help right now, I may be able to after the 1st but I am sending prayers and reiki energy to both Klinger and Marcy.

Angela if you're a "verified" Paypal member, they have something new called Pay After Delivery, which doesn't withdraw the money from either your bank account or Paypal account (whichever you have set as default) until 14 days later. This is mainly for Ebay buyers I guess, but since it was offered during my transaction I assume it works for DCIN donations. The Chip-In would get the donation right away though, the recipient is not effected. A box pops up offering this during the transaction if you're eligible to use it.

Oh my Goodness this is terrible news and I am sorry to be seeing this. Marcy my prayers are with you and Klinger right now that he get better.

Thank you all so much for your support, prayers, and good healing vibes. Klinger has been improving all day. He's eating, his liver values, potassium, and ketones are all in the normal range. His last BG was 225. He's growling and flighting with the vet techs - which is his normal behavior. He has an appt with the cardiologist tomorrow morning and then I think we might be able to take him home.

We couldn't have gotten through this devastating time without you...thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! The power of prayer is an amazing thing. Klinger has a long road ahead of him and we continue to ask for your prayers.

I thought of Klinger all day and was hoping he'd be better but I wasn't sure what I'd find tonight.
I'm so happy for him with his lovely big white snout, that I got teary. Keep it up Klinger, good cat.
