And he's drinking alot less but still gulping when he does. Eating 13+ oz of canned. Still just hangin' out in the bathroom. Not being growly or hissy any more, so he's comfy in that aspect.

more later

OK, it's later, lol. Today was a bit hectic, so no chance at much of any spot checks. May try and get one in tomorrow, and it'll be around a +6 or so. I should be able to do a couple of different ones on Fri, since I am off work, but do have some errands to run.

And he's liking his pieces of boiled chicken when I test him :thumbup

Got a +4 on him tonite- 261

Re: Dante AMPS 307

They do eat a lot until they have been regulated for a little while. Both of mine were in the 10-12oz range I think. Jeddie might have been a little higher. But they drop back down to 6-8 ozs eventually.

Are you going to be able to get spot checks? Dose changes for lev should be off the nadir not the PS numbers - but really the whole "curve" needs to be considered. He is still settling on this dose - will be for another day or two.

Re: Dante AMPS 307

Not a bad AMPS for this early in the dance. Seems he liked the dose you gave him.

The whole transitioning thing can be somewhat challenging. My foster likes to bite (she's declawed up front). Initially she liked to smack, and was real hyper-sensitive to touch. Then got extremely over-stimulated with petting/brushing, and spent an hour in "time out" in the carrier.

As I've intro'd new kitties into the fold over the past 12 years, I usually try to give them a private space initially. Then intro one at a time to others in a controlled environment (put one of the "old" kitties in a dog crate in the room. They can sniff/see each other, but not interact right away. Helps them learn it's okay to just "chill" together. Or, separated by a screen or storm door, where they can see each other, and not freak out that there's a "stranger" in the house (even if THEY are the stranger!). Then supervised interaction. Then sporadic unsupervised interaction, and pretty soon they're all sprawled on the couch basking in the sun together.

So the foster is currently in the laundry room with 2 nice windows, and a glass door to see the others. Stanley has expressed interest in visiting with her, so he'll probably be the first to interact. He's just a big love! Hopefully, she'll think so too!
