I feel like I'm asking too many questions so apologies if I'm being a pain but I'm just trying to work this all out :banghead:. So I measured Myrtle's Bg 3 hours after shot this evening and it was 85, tested again at 5 hours and it was still 85 (she had only had a tiny snack of a couple of pieces of dry food just after the 3 hrs reading). Is it usual for nadir to happen so soon and be maintained for so long? Is this good? bad? I'd be tempted to wake up in 2 hours at 2am and check again but Myrtle HAS HAD ENOUGH and is very cranky with me right now. Getting her stressed will probably raise her bg so I'm leaving it for tonight.

We call this "surfing" - a run of the same or very similar numbers that persists. It's a really good thing when it's a dark green run! :D A +7 test would be a good idea if you can convince Myrtle that it is. ;)

What were his AMPS? My Kitty's nadir is often between the +3&+6.

PMPS was 220 and she hadn't eaten for at least an hour - don't know if she had eaten just before I got home from work or if she had eaten hours ago unfortunately.

Are you measuring the <1 u by filling the syringe to 1 u and letting a tiny bit out? If you can repeat this consistently it looks like a good dose for now. Those greens were great!

My kitty drops fast and early as well. She's been doing that from day one. I wouldn't worry. Her numbers are great.
