Weird day, no dip so far at +6 and definitely wasn't a furshot. Been steady at 15.4/15.5 (277/279) all day. I did miss a shot 3 days ago due to poor planning for a vet trip for his asthma. Xrays were done and antibiotics were started for a potential infection. Also raised dose of Flovent inhaler and am giving every 12 hours.

I know following proper SLGS I cant increase for another ?4 days?. That being said, due to my work schedule I can only really do them on Saturdays.

If I get some mid cycle tests throughout this week is it safe to increase by .25 this evening?

If not, can I increase mid week without a proper curve? (Will still get mid cycle tests)

I'm not quite sure why you reduced the dose so often earlier this month, but if I remember correctly you are/were moving?

Yes, I would increase. I would have expected any effects from the antibiotics to have happened by now, but still keep an eye on him in case BG starts to lower as possible infection clears up

I reduced based off of advice given from an experienced member on this forum. I do realize now it was not a good choice but cant undo what is done, just hopefully fix iit! But yes I did move :) We are now finally in the new place and things are beginning to get back to normal.

I will increase him tomorrow morning! Should I stick with a .25 increase or do you think .5?

Yes although I only see a few earned reductions, it looks like there were some assumed ones, as well as reduced doses and everything got a little muddy.

Per SLGS guidelines it would be a 0.25U increase. Per modified method it would 0.5U. I remember you were considering switching after the move but you would need more midcycle tests, both AM and PM, for this.

So - I think you have room for a 0.5U increase.if you can get the extra tests in, but the safe thing to do is 0.25U

Think we will be sticking to the .25 increase. He wanted to surprise me tonight apparently, we are at 8.9@+3, lowest number I have seen in weeks!
