Crazy Numbers almost a month since DX

Sabu has shown alot of improvement in his overall health since beginning lantus bid, his weight has come back, he's playing, there is no more excessive water drinking or peeing. He is 100% wet food low carb diet, but his blood tests preshot are erratic and seem to be getting higher and higher especially at night. Has anyone gone through this that can let us know why? The vet doesnt want to do a curve yet but will within the next week or so. Thanks.

I'm so glad to hear that Sabu is feeling better! Try posting this question on the Lantus forum, as there's a lot of activity over there. My sugar baby is on Prozinc, so I really don't know how to answer your question. It appears to me as though Sabu needs an increase in his insulin dose, but I couldn't advise you because I'm not familiar with that type of insulin. I'm sure you'll get help if you post on that forum.
