In the US it's in the $300 to $400 range for a vial. Many US users order from a reputable Canadian Pharmacy, Marks Marine Pharmacy in Vancouver, British Columbia. It's a little over half the price from them, shipping included.

You'd have to contact them. They might be reluctant to ship in winter weather in case the package is left outside by the delivery people. Freezing wrecks Lantus. @Chris & China will know.

I think the Canadian price I was referring to is for the 5 pack of Lantus pens (each is 3 mL so a total of 15 mL whereas a vial is 10 mL).

How does it do in travel?

They will want to know what the weather conditions are going to be in your area. Lantus can't be frozen, so if there's a risk of freezing, they'll hold it until it's warmer.

If you end up needing it long term, it's best to plan ahead and order in the spring or fall when temps are moderate.
