Corky's BG is quite high yellows today, I assume is on account of all those greens back to back?
There was definitely no Fur Shot
I fixed the Priv Conversation Title post as requesting removing the Helps, ?? & !! thank you for the notice:bighug::bighug:;):cat::cat:
yes he is I'm happy, I emailed Chewy in reference to a FF treat, and ingredients,
for FF Appetizers Light Meat Tuna with a Scallop Topper Lickable Cat Treats. 0.2% carbs on an as-fed and 1.5% carbs on a dry matter, I assume this is a safe treat to switch from the +4-ham snack?

Corky's BG is @ 101 as I type this I have tried to communicate this by putting it out there but I get no answer this is not crying wolf! I right now stuck on what not and what to do even I have always tried to prepare for this even wat too early as always but is really happening I feel very alone right now and nervous, I know is not 6:00 pm yet but it keeps going down for real this time:arghh::arghh::nailbiting::nailbiting: Help 5:30PM 112

So he came up to 128 by 6:00 o’clock ? And you shot? That’s good.
Yes I did I missed you terribly, hope you had a nice 4th I dare not go out in this heat is just horrible, I have low pottasium, and in extreme heat I pass out very unexpectedly , I have scars on my forehead to show for it, getting in or out of the car, and poof I wake up bloody with people around me thinking I got mugged, and my house is at 70 degrees, so that does not help when I leave, Corky, as always keeping me with my boots on, and crying wolf at the last minute even, is so embarrassing, no wonder I never get a response, this time it was a close one though! I’m sorry if I interrupted you. You know how panicky I get an hour or two before shot, can you imagine 1/2 hour before dosing?? I know I must get use to low low numbers for his pancreas to start producing insulin, but still the fear when his insulin kicks in at 10 which now has changed to 8:30-9:00 is terrifying to me that he would get hypo within minutes even knowing that up to 50 is good, There’s so much I have to learn and get used to I am really trying to get there:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

You are never a bother — and I really do care about Corky. I had a Memorial Service to attend today (another one) and then some errands to run. And, honestly, these days I am trying to keep a cat alive and that’s all I will say about that, but it takes a lot of time and research and stress and worry. So I got a chance to sit down, and I saw your post. You handled it well. And remember that you can always stall (without feeding) for a little bit to give his BG time to rise.

Wow. He rose a lot.
Regarding your potassium…. Can you supplement?
Thanks, and yes I supplement with bananas avocado, but no potassium meds otherwise the bit my body produces if I take medication it will stop producing the potassium and I will be dependent on it. Corky is doing alright. I tried tonight the new trat FF light meat tuna, let's see what it does to his BG; have a good night:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:;)

She’s declining. She’s 17 years old and has heart disease. It’s not the cat who had surgery earlier this year. That was orthopedic surgery (kneecap stabilization) and was very successful.

Wow so sorry to hear that I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going thru, to see your kitty that bad. You're my hero you know that.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Hi. On June 15 you shot a 118. He will be okay. Make sure he stays a little hungry for the snacks. See how he went green a little earlier in the cycle on that evening (June 15). So just test him a little earlier tonight. Can you do a 1.5 hour check instead of waiting until +2? Then you can decide what to do at that point with the snacks.

Thanks for responding! I plan to test him ever 1/2 he after 8:00PM I’m still shaking over it, but I know I will be ok with you on the other hand My hypo kit is already out in case I need it! This is not easy for me emotionally bu Corky deserves the bes from me and you know I told you I had to get my mind set for it, and it’s done!! Thank you Suzanne, could not do all that I have done without you, you’re my hero:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat::nailbiting:

Well I would not worry. It looks like Corky is stuck in blue today and tonight. It’s okay though.

Good morning, Happy Monday
Corky started the morning with mid yellows, we are now on1 blue and 2 greens so far
I believe he's going for more so I am testing every 1/2 hours for safety:bighug::bighug::cat::cat::coffee::coffee:

Good afternoon. I think you are testing excessively. Unless he is nearing 50 (maybe at 60) I would not test poor Corky this often (every half hour- once per hour would be enough.). Look at the numbers you got with those Four tests. 89, 86, 84, and 90. That means he is FLAT. He was not dropping but was very stable. 80s and 90s in a cat like Corky who is NOT prone to diving do not worry me at all. He is not a diver and that is good. He does this most days on this dose — has a surf in upper greens. Hopefully you will get a little more comfortable with it over time. All in all, it’s another great cycle for Corky! :D

Thanks, It was not my intention to worry, I was just so excited to see all these green in arow, I thought you would like to know, you are right I will not test that often, I'm beginning to understand the pattern since it's been a few days, I will continue the same testing cycle. I am truly getting accustomed seeing the greens and you're right he's not diving I did not realize that, and by PMPS he will ok to shoot, sorry to have taken you away from your things:bighug::bighug::bighug:;):cat::cat:

You do a great job with Corky, I assure you— and I am always happy to see how well he is doing!
