Did you see this?
Simple:
Snack at 8 a.m. - can be as small as one teaspoon
Snack at 10 a.m. also can be small
Snack at NOON can be small.

It’s soooo good for him, and you are getting used to his pattern and see that he’s going to hit a pretty decent green and he’s not going to keep going down — he’s going to surf in green for a while before he goes back up. So you no longer have to be scared. I am really happy about it all. It’s taken us a while to get to this point, but it’s all worth it. Good job, Maria!

Again, thanks for the vote of confidence, and yes I have gotten use to these greens even when they are low, I look forward to them; I have learned the pattern and my heart does not skip a beat any longer, of course only when is 5PM and PMPS is due and I reach out to you to know to dose or not or when or how much, that part it's still very scary to me because of the insulin, I am for the most part getting confident, but I would not have, if it wasn't for your help and persistence. I did start the given food schedule today.:bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

So look how Corky is at almost the same exact place as he was last night at this time. Just remember that if he goes to 81 or 79 or something on his next test that is pretty flat and not a big cause for concern. The low carb food he ate at 10 (+4) should see him through.

Good Morning: We started an early low green path this morning;):bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Another good cycle for Corky today. I see he got an extra snack +2.5 (10:30 a.m.) ;) You just don’t trust Corky yet!
it's me I don't trust perhaps, I need to take these numbers slowly and really learn the patterns carefully to feel at ease, but definitely there are no MC or HC given at all, and he is doing really good like I say I am really happy to see these cycles, just that I got a bit stupid when I saw the 70 that's when I gave him a bit of food

No problem at all. It was Corky’s lucky day. And he’s supposed to eat around that time and it’s only 4 percent so perfect for him! :bighug:

Nope. When I wrote that message here is what I saw (see below.) A lovely string of greens in the daytime cycle. And I would not freak out about a single pink number anyway. Corky always comes back down (as I see he was in the process of doing last night.)

I know, I had a feeling you were referred to that that cycle and it looks like it's repeating itself today, this is good right? these low greens, I really didn't concern myself too much on that purple, a bit worried until I saw it go down, I am sure you have noticed that I do not freak out any more even when Corky gets int 70's? I am beginning to learn his pattern like you do getting more confidant, and you have everything to d0 with it;) Thank you, will keep you posted, also I made a new thread titled Corky, Hemorrhoids?? a lot of views but no input, when you have time could you read it please??:coffee::coffee::coffee::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

It’s good to see Corky back down into blue.
yes he is I'm happy, I emailed Chewy in reference to a FF treat, and ingredients,
for FF Appetizers Light Meat Tuna with a Scallop Topper Lickable Cat Treats. 0.2% carbs on an as-fed and 1.5% carbs on a dry matter, I assume this is a safe treat to switch from the +4-ham snack?

It sounds low carb enough and he may enjoy it - although I know he likes the ham!
