Cooper's amps is 224. Not sure how he is doing on his nadir because i've been gone the past few days and couldn't test. But his amps and pmps are getting lower on the .8u. So i'm sticking to the .8u today and will try to get nadir. He is looking so calm these days and cuddling wth the family again. He slept with my daughter all night. Maybe it's because i'm not so stressed about it all the last couple of days and have given his ears a little break too. Whatever it is, I see a peep of hope here. Yea!

Have a great day girls. We shall see what happens. Hopefully we keep the steps forward.......

We are all for peeps of hope here :-D
Preshot is GREAT, we will hope that continues for you.
Good on ya both!

pmps @ 286. He has been basically in high 200's all day. I know that usually means, not enough insulin or rebound. I'm sure it's not a rebound situation, so assume it is not enough insulin. I will go up tomorrow to 1u and see where he goes. I know the .2u is supposed to not be enough to make a difference, but in copper's case i think might be. We shall see. I think i will keep him at the .8u tonight and not test and start in morning with higher dose.

What do you all think?

Hi Lori,

I think you have misunderstood some of my long-winded posts. It is not that 0.2 won't make a difference - especially at these low levels of insulin. 0.2 is a 25% increase from 0.8 so that *is* significant.

The issues that I was trying to point out in other threads are:

1) it is difficult to measure 0.1 and 0.2 accurately

2) there are so many other factors influencing the BG so that I was trying to decrease your angst as I watched you agonize over changes of 0.1 or 0.2 units - especially when at higher doses - and then wondering why his chart was so difficult to clearly interpret.
