Copper had a really bad day yesterday. Not sure what was wrong with him. It was like his insulin didn't even work, twice. He throw up once and after that his BG stayed level for a whole day. I even shot a little extra thinking that he just didn't get enough and it didn't work. Today his amps was low @268 and shot the 1.6u and he finally went back down to the low 100's. He might of had a green, not sure because i wasn't here for +4 and had auto feeder on and he ate. Tested him @ +5 and he was @ 144 after eating. He looks likes he feels better today. Tested his urine and neg for ketones and pos +1 for glucose. This was normal for him. Not sure if i just didn't give enough yesterday, or he just had a bad day for no reason. He has been so consistent lately with his numbers that this was a little wacky to have happen. Have you all had this happen for no reason? Anyhoo.....He is better today again.....Upset a little because it's a stormy day and can't go outside and play

Hope you all are having a great cycle today!!!

Swannee 99 is asking the same question. Carl posted Dr. Lisa's list of things that include bg levels beside insulin on her thread. There are SO many......

Glad he has decided to be more normal today. :-D

I've noticed with Poopy, I can be giving the same food, same time, same dose, and all that jazz and he'll be off one day and great the next. With Copper throwing up a little he obviously wasn't feeling up to snuff. That could be all that was needed to throw him off a little.

Glad he seems to be doing better today.
