I took a class with the fire department a few years back as a first responder and I learned they kept all their supplies in nice kits.

There are kits available online that you also can store medical supplies and gear in online, but they are pretty expensive.

I found an alternative that I am using for my cat Smokey's diabetic and other medical supplies.

I found a tool box kit at home depot in plastic for $8.95. Its pretty good sized and sturdy. I bought the orange one. They have a smaller one in black that is $6.95. These are sturdy and well made and I don't think you'll find a cheaper case that meets the needs at a target or other store, but you could look.

I love kit I put together. it helps me keep organized and reduces anxiety and is just nice to have everything in one place and safe and secure.

You can go to the store in person or you can look online for tool boxes, these are plastic boxes.

They have a tray on top. I washed the entire box out with hot water antibacterial soap in my bathtub and dried it and I feel it's really clean now.

I put scissors, a small flashlight, a tube of neosporian for pain, and some needles used for pricking smokey's ear on the tray.

The base of the box underneath has lots of room depending on which size you buy. I think the $8.95 box was great for us.

I have Smokey's monitor and strips (in their case) in the box. I have all the instruction books for his monitor tucked nicely in the box. I have a bag of cotton balls and some other gauze in the box, vaseline and I also put a piller and some of his other pills he's taking stored in the bottom section. I also have stored two days worth of his special canned cat food just in case of an emergency, like if you have to evacuate your home in moments notice.
It's great. I snap it closed and it gives me great peace of mind to be organized.

You can put other first aid pet supplies in the box as well. I store his insulin in the fridge since that is required. I put his recycling box for the needles on top of the medical kit and everything is in one spot.

It's cheap and its works great! You might enjoy having a nice kit like this for your kitty too. It's at home depot in the store and online. The cheapest thing like it I could find and very sturdy and well made and easy to clean since its all plastic.

yes. i went down to look at it first to see how it might function. It's really sturdy. It has lots of room.

I looked all over online for a nice kit for supplies and they are expensive. It just makes me feel so much better having an organized box. I had everything in a regular cardboard box but this is nice for setting up and storing. Plus if you had to take it someplace you have a nice case with a handle that you can easily pack.
