This is a human meter, correct? A lot of us use a human meter because the test strips are a lot cheaper. Many/most of them don't require a code. It's a bonus if the meter needs only a tiny drop of blood on the test strip to give you a reading. I see "ability to reapply blood" on the packaging - that can be helpful if you're having some difficulty getting enough blood for a test.
