It looks like I might continue to see some change (improvement), so I hope to continue this dose through Friday when I can get some late cycle readings more easily than getting up through the night.

I'm not sure what is "better" for Celle, spending part of the day over 500 and part near 200 or the entire day in the high 300s, but the latter is better for my nerves. I feel like this gives me a chance to regroup and think about what to do when I'm not in a complete state of panic. If Celle does indeed need a dose much higher than 2.75 units, I'm not sure I can handle the journey we need to get there.

Hi Melissa,
Well, just for the fact there's no 500s, that's good. It may just take another day or so for the shed to empty and give a better idea how it's working. If you're comfortable with the results of this dose, and continuing to test ketones as often as possible (I know that can be difficult), if Friday's the day you can get several BG checks, that sounds fine. It gives this dose plenty of time to "acclimate," if you will.

As far as what's worse, 500s vs 300s, well steady 300s are better than up and down between even 200s and 500s. 500s are bad period.

The only thing still concerning me is the acro testing. As the High Dose/Acro ISG members have explained, apparently there are fluctuations which cause much lesser or higher doses needed. So until you get that acro testing, you cannot be sure that even the results of a reduction like this are accurate. I feel like I'm not explaining this well, so I hope you understand what I mean. The test is important.

I think the peace of mind from getting the answer would be worth it and help you feel more confident. As you've seen, there are members who understand acro very well on the board and can ably assist you if it turns out to be positive.
