Managed to get a first pmps reading this evening after our trip to the vets.

It seems high but she doesn't seem different than she has every night since diagnosis; hungry, a bit thirsty.

She's settled in her favourite spot now after eating and seems comfortable enough.

How did it go at the vet? What did you find out?
I am confused about the spreadsheet because it has the tests as being on January 12 and today is January 13. I think it’s just slightly off.

Ah sorry yes. Everything is a day out. Sorry - I'm a bit frazzled!

Vet says no ketones in urine when tested after the steroid crisis.
No fructosamine test done. Will send me the results of all recent tests.
She suggests no change in dosage for now.

Thats about it I think. I will update with the test info when I have it.

Good. So we can move forward from here as you gather testing data and we see how she is progressing. I am very optimistic that we can get Charly well-regulated and healthy again (dare I hope for more? :))

Thank you. That's great to hear. I feel optimistic too:)

head torch, reading glasses, glucose meter, test strips, lancet, sock full of rice, chicken treats, cotton wool pads.....seems like i always discover i have forgotten something in the middle of testing.

having said that testing is going well now. im at home most of the day so hoping to test every two hours of am cycle today.
