Constipation and diabetes

Hello All,
Looking for any advice and input from those who have had to tackle diabetes and bad constipation. Polly aka Woggy has come up with bad constipation to the point of needing an enema. We were doing Miralax as needed but obviously not cutting it. Her BG's have been low all day 80-100 with no insulin so monitoring very closely. Want to make sure we get the right balance for her. Any advice is really appreciated! So grateful for this group

I use miralax and so far so good. How much are you giving? Cisapride may be an option. Come to the Main Health forum and ask your question. There are more people there to give you answers.

Dang it I thought I did post it there. Thank you for catching that. We give 1/8 of a teaspoon so very little. I know we can increase and will need to. Thank you!
