I have been stalking the Sure Feed Microchip Feeder and watched tons of videos on Youtube. I don't know anyone that actually has one though. I also NEVER see them go on sale. I would have to get 2 for my cats since Malcolm will eat anything in a bowl and I worry about him keeping Tiffany from getting enough food while I am at work. He has bullying tendencies and Tiffany is timid. Feedback and user experience appreciated as well as a heads up if you happen to see them on sale.

I have one for one of my cats and love it. I bought it because Cracker kept eating Chloe's food. I took a little over a week to train her to use it. In fact I am planning to buy another one to keep Cracker out of Indie's food and force Cracker on a diet He is like Malcolm and clean everyone's bowl.

I bought mine from Uppdeal. It's a little cheaper than everywhere else. https://www.uppdeal.com/sureflap-mi...mpf001-pid-477?search=feeder&description=true

I have two of them. The older one and the newer one that contains a scale send data to your phone. I use them for my twins, Wiggles (diabetic) and his brother Boots. If I did not have them Wiggles, who eats fast, would bully Boots away and finish his food. The scale is useful to get the right amount of of food to maintain body weight.

I tried to use one, but LB was too scared to use it. He would not go near it. If your kitty doesn’t mind things like that, they are great! Just didn’t work for us unfortunately.
My cat Chloe was the same way at first. It took a couple weeks training her with treats to get comfortable with it. Now she uses it without any hesitation.

I had 4 at one point. All 4 cats had their own. I still have 3 of them using it. It is a life saver. Some took to it quickly my skiddish civvie took a little longer - about 10 days. There is the learning function on it that makes things easier at first. With 3 cats all with different dietary needs - it makes things easier.

Plus the dog can't get into their food because it would be vacuumed up then! :p

Seems the price has gone up on them. I got mine through amazon and they had a coupon for them when I bought mine.

What kind of dog do you have? If I left food in a SufeFeed my 18# dog eat through/destroy the SureFeed to get to the food. My dog has eaten through a Rubbermaid container of dry cat food

A 55 lb pit bull mix? She is more of a pouncer/nose pusher - comes from the board games I give her. So a few gentle reprimands and she left them alone. Still does the drive by sniffing to see if she can get in though. :D

So I bought 2 for the kids with the stimulus check in the US. Bought it from the manufacturer website and used coupon code CAT25 for 25% off. Forgot to buy batteries so I don't have any feedback yet. I did start putting food in the dishes and in front of the feeders to get them familiar with them.

Thank you for the code. :D I just ordered a 2nd one so I can put Cracker on his diet. He keeps stealing Indie's food. He is a big butterball. :cat:

FYI...IF PURCHASING THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER WEBSITE, SUREFLAP BILLS AS CAMBRIDGE (UNITED KINGDOM). YOUR CREDIT CARD MAY CHARGE A FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE. THE SMALL FEE WAS WORTH THE 25% OFF, BUT JUST BE AWARE.
