Confusion on carbs in FF naturals

I remember seeing somewhere that the Fancy Feast Naturals were low carb. I got some of the white meat chicken pate to try and my cats love it. I looked it up on Chewy and I looked under the variety pack and down at the bottom where the questions are about what the carb % is on a dry matter basis says the chicken recipe is 12.7% and that is what I come up with in the carb calculator. But then going to just the chicken flavor on its own, the same question is answered with a carb % of 2.5% on a dry matter basis.

I'm so confused now.
Does anyone know what the actual carbs are?

I remember seeing that also. If you look at the ones listed there all say "in broth". So that's 3 different results listed and I'm just even more confused as to whether I should order some or not.
I also think the reason why it comes up.as so high (12%) in the carb calculator is because the moisture is listed as so low, only 78%, compared to most other pates that are high 80s.
I don't know, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.
Maybe that's why my girls liked it so much, because it is higher carbs.

I am still stuck on the fact that they have gravies, even the FF Medley Florentine in a light broth are 12 %, I bought a few cans of the ones mentioned on my post, but I am NOT willing to try them, Corky is extremely tightly regulated, and it has caused me sweat and tears to get him there, I will just keep feeding his usual menu, than try to experiment, thanks for your input, I still stand the same about all gravies, that's just me;):joyful: * sometimes too much information can get confusing, I'm old school; why fix it if it aint' broke!🤣

I don't blame you one bit there. I'm still so new to all of this and still searching for a better food that my girls like that I can feed long term. I prefer the "NATURAL" and grain free. In all fairness, the Gravy Lovers Pate is like a broth at the bottom and not so much like an actual gravy mixture. More of like a juice in it, if that makes sense, and they like that, it's what they've been eating for over a month now. I would just rather have them on something better but not too pricey so I continue to look at different foods.

Likewise, this forum is God sent for our fur babies, is too bad that some new members don’t take us serious, the depend so much on their vets, and is so unfortunately that there are some knowledgeable vets on FD but many bang it, and having the diabetic cat come back to visit is more their priority than stabilizing their patient, I personally have no regards for many vets, I was fired by Corky’s lifetime vet when I went in with questions about Corky’s diabetes right after he left the hospital, I have seen so many mommies daddies with FD cats and the horror stories are sad to tell, this forum has experience, care and understanding about FD , I trust them blindly!!
