So Noah had flat blue numbers last night and again this morning. Can a cat bounce to blue (instead of yellow and pink like I'm used to). I'm just worried because I started a new pen of insulin yesterday.

I don't see why not. It would just be a very moderate bounce. He's doing really well.

They do all sorts of funny stuff to keep us confused. I'm sure it's not the insulin. He's still looking good. See what he does the next few days. Pretty sure he'll return to green soon .

He is going to drive me insane! :banghead: Just when you think you know what to expect (like a yellow or pink bounce last night or this morning) he goes ahead and does something else. It's pretty awesome if it is indeed a blue "bounce" and I'm not complaining, but I'm the kind of person that likes to know what to expect and I'm quickly learning that it is NOT possible with FD!

Wishing a good day to Teasel, Doodles and Lincoln and their mommas! :bighug:

Good to hear that Noah is feeling chirpy;)

How high they bounce can vary, ECID but with George that was certainly what happened when he turned arround and started heading down the dosing scale, at first we stopped seeing pinks, then we stopped seeing blues and finally he went all green and flat, of course there were a few PJ parties and the occaisional rocket to the moon, just to keep the bean on her toes:rolleyes:
Noah's numbers are looking good though.:cool:

And just because I was confused about blue, Noah decides to throw me a yellow for good measure. Isn't he the best?

I'm ready for the occasional PJ party and rocket to the moon if it means better numbers and a somewhat more predictable cat. Of course he is a cat so

So glad your George is doing so well!

At this point, it looks like Noah is rising above the blues (sorry!). Sometimes, bounce is a fast upward spike. Other times, it's a slow rise.

It's Noah's job to drive you crazy. He's a cat. It's in his DNA.
