Here is my thread from yesterday: www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/hi-my-name-is-sharon-and-its-been-one-week.131658/#post-1354336

I spent most of the day with her yesterday and tried many flavors of food and heating it up but no luck. Even tried adding back some dry. She doesn't even approach it, does lick her lips. Since she ate well on Sunday she hasn't drunk much water if any either. She is laying on me now wanting to be pet. She layed next to me yesterday too. Pee/poo: there is a normal size pee in box but it may not be hers. I hate to go to work. We haven't even started insulin yet. Two steps forward, one step back. Since I'm doing this all alone I think it's best if I start insulin Friday pm.

Hi Sharon,

Sorry to hear that Tabitha is off her food.
That lip-licking could be a sign of nausea. And it may be that she has some kind of GI upset (caused by change of food maybe? furball..?)
Has she pooped, and was it normal? Any vomiting?

As Larry asked; have you been able to check her pee for ketones?
Does her breath smell like normal kitty breath? (And no fruity/peardrops/acetone smell?)

@Elizabeth and Bertie thanks for the link, saves me for looking for it. Yesterday I tried smelling her breath but didn't notice anything different. Boo is normal. No furballs. (Hasn't been grooming) Saturday she had dry heaves once but just small amount of clear liquid came up. Next day she ate well.

I just got in to work and started my computer. While I was driving in I thought about calling the vet to get a copy of the results for the blood work. They submitted it on Jan 5th and it took a few days to get the results - I was told because of back log from the holidays as well as additional test the vet requested from the sample.
