I have forgotten everything since losing Michael a few years ago. This new one was just diagnosed over the weekend. Need to order his insulin, new meter, strips etc. Also have to start up with Sub-Q fluids as he also was diagnosed with Renal Failure. Hopefully I got the SS linked correctly. Right now I feel like a mess, overwhelmed etc.
 
Hi I’m new so I totally identify with overwhelmed. When you have a free monument (yeah right) your spreadsheet is restricted access. When I set mine up on my iPhone there are three dots upper right, click “share and export” then click “manage access”. There may be a more correct/easier way to do that.

I hope things get better soon for you and Charlie

edit: once you click “manage access” then click “anyone with link”

can't see your spreadsheet

To set spreadsheet sharing permission:
* At the top right of the spreadsheet screen click on Share.

* In the pop-up dialog box click on the Get Link section.

* Change link access from 'Restricted' to 'Anyone with the link' and make sure that the permission on the right hand side is set to 'Viewer'.

* Click Done to save the changes.
 
Information we need about Charlie
This is where you can set up what we call your signature, it's at the end of everyone's post in gray letters. Just tap on your name up top then tap on signature and add this information. You will link it to your spreadsheet

  • Add info we need to help you:
    • Caregiver & kitty's name
    • DX: Date
    • Name of Insulin (do not include dose or frequency)
    • Name of your meter
    • Diet: "LC wet" or "dry food" or "combo"
    • Dosing: TR or SLGS or Custom (if applicable)
    • DKA or other recent health issue (if applicable)
    • Bexacat or Senvelgo (if applicable) and dates
    • Acro, IAA, or Cushings (if applicable)
    • Spreadsheet link. Please put the signature link on the bottom line of your signature information, on its own, so it is easy to find.
    • Please do not put any information about your location in the signature for security reasons. If you wish to add your country location, please add it to your profile.
Be sure to click the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom. If you need help urgently it is important we know these things at a glance. We don’t want to waste valuable time finding out information.

After you set up your signature link your spreadsheet to it after you change it so we can see it

Yes it's there, once you get the meter ,strips and the insulin ,will it be Lantus or generic ?
What food are you feeding now
If you get Lantus you need to get the U-100 syringes with the half unit markings , I can tell you where to get them without a vets script.
Since we increase or decrease by 0.25 units at a time
So once you are all set up with everything you need to set up your signature , I posted it above .
Get a human meter since I see that's what you're spreadsheet it set up for

At least if you need more test strips you can run into Walmart and pick them up or if you're running low you can just order them from Walmart

Gotta laugh here "free Monument?", I realize you meant free moment. Have to get all my supplies (insulin, meter, strips etc) before I can really get onboard with putting info out.

Well done getting the SS set up. It is overwhelming in the beginning but you have come back to the best place.
Hopefully the vet will order Lantus or prozinc.
Are you getting a human meter?
