Collecting Blood. What is the device called that sucks the blood into small tube?

Can't remember what its called but its like a small glass tube that sucks the blood up from the prick. that way I can let my cat bail while I place drop on meter and wait?
 
Just giving my two cents here; this probably is going to be more trouble than it's worth. The thing that distresses sam when I test is getting anything close to his ear; he'd freak out if I held anything against the area I just poked.
 
The free way of doing this is scooping up the blood droplet onto a clean nail and testing from there. You could use a small plastic spatula. The mail worked really well for me and it was less threatening to Minnie. This meant I could let her go or let her move her face and flick her ear because I could them just test from my nail
 
I’m wondering; does your meter require that you hold it against the site? Mine just lets me touch the strip to the blood, i see the contact strip turn read after like half a second, then i can take it away and it counts down to the reading. Try lancing at the sweet spot. If you go deep enough more than enough blood should come up. Sam now has a lot more capillaries there, doesn’t take much.
