Hey, gang!!! I thought i heard not to give diabetics cats coconut oil.

Its good for digestion, fur, joints, etc. I take it daily. And one of my family members suggested it for mufasa.

Many holistic vets advise giving coconut oil for many things like coat-joints etc....(it is important to use 1 with a high lauric acid amount)
it is a medium chain fat (if I remember right--Dr Becker spoke on it at the last conference I went to) but I know that it does not go thru the pancreas so even cats/dogs with pancreatic issues can include it in the diet.
Vets have different views on it so it really depends whether you feel comfortable with more traditional vets or holistic. I know many cats on the forum do eat it (as well as use it for wounds) ....
