I have a concern about Corky's sister Coco (non-diabetic) I have noticed today a weird change in her, such as walking around searching, and getting on top of kitchen counter, which is something she does not do ever, when fed she devours her food and wants more, today she let go of a huge, huge hair ball, she's pooping regularly and peeing normal, I use Pretty litter so it detects urine behavior, I got a bit nervous and checked her Bg is at 83, she's not going to the water bowl at all, she eats well but her unusual quirky behavior, has me in check is there something I should worry about?:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Is she still acting differently? How is her weight? Do you weigh them? Do you think she has lost any weight? So it’s mostly just that she seems extra hungry? Can you take her to the vet for them to run some basic bloodwork (including a T4 to check her thyroid?). If your vet uses IDEXX (that’s the name of the lab) I would recommend running the Total Health Plus Basic, which includes a T4.

I actually am hoping she’s returned to normal by now!

Hi Suzanne, it's going to be a week tomorrow since I posted this and many people read it you just answered, thank you, It must've been the Huge Hairball she had stuck that had her uncomfortable, yes I weighed her and even tested her BG as well she's good, I weigh them both monthly and post it on my calendar, actually she Coco gained 1/4 lb. thank you for your concern, Corky is doing great!! have you had a opportunity to review his SS?:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Yes. I don’t often get onto the Feline Health forum because I am spending so much time on other forums. But I saw your message this morning and I noticed it was last Friday that you posted. I am happy that Coco is back to normal.

And I did look at Corky’s spreadsheet this morning. He’s one of my very best regulated ProZinc kitties! Beautiful beautiful spreadsheet!

Who can you trust me with in case I have concerns for Corky then? Because actually, no one else responds to my posts and that is concerning to me

I was surprised nobody replied. I certainly always will be happy to answer any questions that I can. I did not mean to imply that I don’t have time for you or Corky or Coco! I was just sorry that I missed your post because I was a week late in answering. There have been a lot of new people on this feline health forum lately and maybe that’s why nobody replied.
