Morning all, I did give her 1 u lantus. (Since it was 200, right?) I will not be able to do another test till I get home at 5 today. Should I just wait till her regular TSF at 6? Thanks, and happy Monday!

I would get an out the door test and another test as soon as your walk in the door, and leave food out for her.

TSF = test, shoot, feed? Did I mess that up too---------sorry. I am at work, but will test as soon as I get home.

Thanks,

Just stopping by to say "Welcome!"

Yes, it is SO hard to leave our furbabies behind...I hate it, too. I hope Cleo surfed beautifully today!

Hi Jane

No...you didn't mess it up.....you can test shoot feed or test feed shoot just as long as you don't shoot then test :-D ;-) ;-)

Looking forward to seeing her PMPS tonight. Let us know if you have questions.

Cleo,4/8, AMPS (1/2 HR EARLY) 200; PMPS, 257; PM +4, 242-

So, 242 at 10 PM. 4 Hours after insulin. Hope I entered it right. Can't wait to do the curve on Saturday.

I am noticing that Cleo seems to be eating quite a bit. Actually, all cats are really enjoying the Fancy Feast. It used to be only a treat a few times a week. Now, it is all the time, and they are loving it.

Hubby is home the next three days. He does not test, but I like knowing someone is here just to keep an eye on things. (they all just sleep most of the day anyway)

I hope I get better at the testing. Sometimes it goes very smooth, others I have to poke more. It is not a quick thing for me to do. She is tolerating me most of the time, and finally got all the karo syrup off her neck!

Hope everyone has a good night!

Jane

You will get better with time on the testing. It would be great if your husband would learn to test :-D

She's been really flat yellow....that can mean either that the dose will need to be increased soon or, often, flat yellow leads to active cycles so I'd be doing as many spot checks as you can.
