December started out with CL having a lot of issues with the Liver Failure. She had a few episodes of throwing up the white foam and then one day of actually throwing up. Around the middle of the month she started showing signs of improvement. Her thirst has returned to normal and she does not seem to be feeling as sick at her stomach as she has been. The lip licking has toned down a great deal.
We just had our third anniversary of having diabetes on the 24th. Reflecting on where we were back then as to where we are today---- In the 3 years gone by we have come a long way with treating diabetes as well as other health issues in our critters and also in ourselves!! We lost a few good family members along the way as well as our precious non diabetic cat George. We really miss him a lot and think about him all the time.
We are so blessed and are looking forward to a wonderful month of January and a wonderful new year!!!
