Civvies and hepatic lipidosis?

Cats haven't had food since yesterday AM. Stuck at work due to ice/snow/Alabama not being prepared for this kind of weather. When do I need to worry?

I don`t know but I am sorry. I hope you can get home soon. I know sometimes my outside feral cat will not come and eat for a whole day and half when it real cold out like now but then she does come eat and seems fine.
I know this winter could not get over fast enough for me its about -10 here right now.
When do you think you will be able to get home and feed them?

There's no telling. I'm praying by tonight but people are saying maybe not until tomorrow.
 
My goodness, what are the other people doing that have animals, kids at home where you work?

I was just reading that the roads are shut down in Pensacola, I lived there for a short time and all the connecting bridges due to ice(I can`t imagine) So it must be really bad in Alabama. Did the government shut down the roads so they can clear them or salt them?
God forbid this ever happens again if you have one neighbor you can trust like an elderly neighbor or someone I would make them an extra key just in case. I did that with my friend Debbie in case I ever get in an accident or hospital( I have no family left).

I'm not sure of the situation where you are (in terms of availability of emergency response personnel), but are you able to call the fire department or police and give them authorization to forcibly enter so someone can go in with them and look after the cats?
 
I got home. People started making runs for it. I fed cats....one threw up from eating too fast. I hope she's ok in a bit.
 
Thank goodness you are home. She should be okay, just feed her a little bit at a time if you have to. They should be alright.
